I. Preparing for 2017 Federal Monitoring Fiscal Review – (EHS-CCP)

EHS-CCP Grantees and Partners will participate in 2 day on site visits supported by an off-site fiscal review.

Review of On-Going EHS-CCP Program Fiscal Challenges and Hot Topics

Afternoon

This seminar will provide an in-depth review of the monitoring review questions relating to Fiscal Management, Program Management and Quality Improvement. An analysis and discussion of key areas of the review will include the basis of funding the Partnership Agreement, supporting documentation for partner payments, use of layered funding, loss subsidy, financial reporting to governing boards and compliance with nonfederal share and administrative cost requirements.

Grantees have experienced similar and differing challenges during the implementation of this program: This session will allow Grantees an opportunity to share implementable solutions with EHS-CCP Fiscal Consultant.

During year 2 and subsequent funding periods , Grantees will face continuous fiscal challenges such as excess children enrolled without subsidy, children losing subsidy, amendment applications for change of scope reduced enrollment ), carry-over of unobligated funds, one time supplemental funds, and others. This Session will provide strategic alternatives and best practices available under the regulations. The EHS-CCP Fiscal Consultant brings experiences gained from implementations of dozen EHS_CCP clients since the awarding of this innovated program.

This Seminar will provide strategic alternatives and best practices available under the regulations. The EHS-CCP Fiscal Consultant brings experiences gained from a dozen clients (existing and new grantees of varying sizes) partnering with child care agencies and family child care providers.
