Session Details/Learning Objectives/Descriptions

A- Objectives:

1) To inform participants of the new direction Head Start and Early Head Start are taking with the introduction of the new Performance Standards
2) To introduce and explain how the concept of System works with respects to the Head Start Goal-Oriented concept of service delivery
3) To demonstrate the concept of how “Systemic Thinking” works within the framework of the Office of Head Start’s Five Year Goal-Oriented Plan
4) To demonstrate the two components of an objective and the integration of Fiscal Management into each objective

B- Outcomes:

1) Participants will understand how systems are developed within a goal-oriented service delivery concept

2) Participants will understand how to develop and link systems for each agency goal

3) Participants will understand how to develop, implement and link sub-systems

4) Participants will learn how to measure the effectiveness of outcomes

5) Participants will understand the importance of fiscal being incorporated into each objective
